Grew up on small farm with sucklers and sheep left kemnay academy in 1985 at 16

1985-86

Went to work on a farmwith beef cattle taking in upwards of 900 stores mainly continental breeds and fattening off grass or overwintering on hay, swedes, draff and bruised barley. 500 breeding cheviot ewes crossed with the blue faced Leicester tups producing breeding mules to put to Suffolk tup. Tractor work was mainly carting other work was cutting for hay with double drum mower turning and small square baling with flat 8 system.

1986-86

I went to a piggery for 6 months relief miller and working on the finishers but the indoors didn't suit me.

1986-88

I then went to an agricultural contractor for two seasons doing Lime and muck spreading grass cutting, chopping and bailing and spent a fair bit of time on the buckrake mainly using Ford 7610 and MF 50b industrial loader . I did forestry work in the winter.

1988-1991

I then moved to a farm as my wife to be was at university. As a stockman/tractorman on a hill farm with 100 plus hereford cross Friesian and a few Galloway and blue grey sucklers put to Limousin bull offspring sold for store. We took jersey cross bull calves in to a bull beef system to finish. hill and lowland sheep and a lot of steep tractor work using case international 885,856,956 and jcb loadall

1991-93

I then got married and moved back to North Hornet tractor stockman he wanted to start a suckler herd and after two years he sold the cows

1993-94

Driving a Fastrac 145 hauling materials for his groundworks firm anything from gravel to excavators

1994-95

1995-97

I then moved away to Dorset and ended up doing tractor and digger driving for anAgriculture and drainage contractors

1997-2000

Waste services as tractor driver plant operator working on their landfill mainly carting, tanker and road building and fencing

2000-2023

Commercial recyclingcompany as a plant operator driving excavator and loading shovel feeding crushers and screeners as the company grow i became Manager and then operations director

I am working on a pig/ arable unit in Oxford just to get back into farming

I am now looking to getting back home to a stockman job

I'm 55 hardworking, conscientious ,reliable and enthusiastic and always wanting to learn. A very good keen eye
