Self Employed Weekend Job. On a beef farm, which sold fat cattle and Hereford pedigree bulls. Tasks:

Feeding Silage

Bedding up with straw

Feeding Rolled oats to all the housed cattle. Bagging different rations

Feed the pigs

Assist with any sheep work

I would use a Manitou telehandler or Massey Ferguson loader tractor to help with my job. Furthermore I would check on stock housed during the winter and outside.

Also assisted with spring calving, when needed.

Ensure all equipment used is maintained. Regular greasing and washing of machines weekly.

Relief milker for 50 approx. organic Guernsey cows in the 12 stall manual parlour.
