Never went to college as Im not a sit in the classroom person rather be hands on and learn most of what I learnt was taught by my dad who has worked on dairy farms for many years.Dont have other qualifications but been looking at paid courses for ai and footrimming.did have my mastering medicines, and drying off but I think thats now outdated but going to be re doing them .

Used all different types of telehandlers such as claas bobcat jcb and a merlo. Done the basic scraping out tmr feeding. Also done a little tractor driving silage carting, power harrowing, rolling.Also have my class 1 hgv

I have worked on a dairy farm Working under the herdsmen with milking bedding calving scraping out calf rearing and feeding.

Have worked in different sized herds starting from 300 to 150 cows I am comfortable on milking on my own or as a team

Also comfortable on calving on my own and understanding when to get involved to help with the cows being less stressed.always looking out for signals and observing the herd.i understand theres still alot for me to learn but im willing to learn if the right farm is willing to teach me and put me in the right way.
