I have been a member of the Under 17 Car Club since 2015, when I was 14 year old. The Club helps young people learn to drive in safe off road locations including MOD bases and some race circuits eg Castle Combe. I have driven numerous vehicles over the course of my membership including modern / classic & sports cars, pickup-trucks and articulated lorries. Progressing through the Club I have attended a skid pan course, First Aid course & speed awareness training. I am now a senior member of the club and am expected to drive at an advanced standard. I also enjoy photography regularly taking my camera with me to work to capture the countryside and my machines at their best.

Asthma - Carry around a Blue inhaler for emergncy useage.
I have completed four stints at commercial farms along with a 9 month stretch at a farm park.
The first of these farms, where I worked for 14 months, was a diary who did everything they could themselves including owning a forager. There I completed General stock tasks as well as handling the cattle as well as field work operations ranging from slurry tanking to power harrowing and raking as well as silage, muck and straw carting.
The second of these commercial farms was a mixed farm with a Beef finishing unit and a large arable operation farming for ourselves as well as contract farming with 3400ac of heavy ground in both grass for hay and silage production as well cereals and oilseeds, where I have been for a year. Here I have completed more field work tasks including, tedding, straw raking, sun soiling/flat lifting, muck spreading, and light cultivation work as well as carting material around the farm such as bales, grain, silage and muck. I have also handled more cattle and begun to give injections as well as tagging trimming tails and general sorting of the cows in the sheds or via the race.
The third of these farms is a small arable farm with around 950ac of cropping where I have done a small amount of drilling with a weaving tine drill and a Horsch sprinter as well as applying fertilizer with a Bogballe/KRM spreader. As well as drying grain with a standalone dryer.
At the fourth farm, a mixed farm with two dairies with an arable unit alongside and finishing all their calves, I have mainly been the feeder wagon operator daily feeding around 1000 cattle including 2 dairy herds including dry cows totalling at around 300 head each and 300-400 beef cattle spread across 5 farms. Other duties have included maize, muck and straw cart; stacking and loading straw; bedding up cattle with a Kuhn straw blower and various other telehandler work with the farms JCB TM telehandlers.

Currently looking for a farm with a variety of work to help further myself as a machine operator and farm worker. I prefer the arable side but working with cattle has became something I enjoy more as Ive spent more time in the industry.
