My responsibilities included maintaining high animal welfare standards, cow and dairy hygiene and meeting organic and farm assurance standards. I also assisted with calf rearing. This included feeding, bedding and vaccinating the calves.

•From May 2021 to July 2021 I had been volunteering every weekend, milking on the employers other farm based in York (350 head spring calving herd)

Where would you like to work?

Due to finish apprenticeship March 2027. After this I will be looking for work with cattle and sheep mainly, in regenerative systems. Location not a big issue but my family are based in Yorkshire. I will be looking for opportunities where I can continue learning regen practices and progress within my career.
