Farming background

Farmer son. Worked at home until age 20 and farm was sold. Worked for local farmer as summer help autumn 2000. Worked for local auto engineering firm 2000 - 2001. Set up my own business contracting, farm machine repairs and auto repairs 2003. Worked part time for a dairy farmer as tractor driver 2003 - 2005. Went full time on car, lorry and tractor repairs/maintenance 2005 - 2018, but continued to assist the dairy farmer, as they expanded into producing ice cream, with silaging / reseeding / carting and general fieldwork. Lost workshop (due to housing planning permission) in 2018, so moved back to dairy farm and built my own workshop on site and took on head/main/only tractor driving role, and continued workshop and auto repairs during winter/downtime.

Decided that I wanted to go back into full time farming so moved the Scotland in 2022 and took up a head tractor / workshop manager role on a large estate in SW Scotland. Will not return to A) Sussex, or B) Fixing cars.
