Currently an agricultural spraying contractor for the past 5 years. I am responsible for spraying different types of crop. This includes wheat/barley/grass to potatoes and carrots. I have experience in self propelled sprayers and tractor mounted. I have also gained experience of potato and grain carting.

My Key skills gained in this are -

• 5 years experience of mounted and self propelled sprayers.

• Mixing and handling chemicals.

• Washing sprayers out when moving between crops.

• Changing plans as the day progresses based of weather conditions.

• General tractor driving skills - Carting grain and potatoes. (I would like to expand this to other jobs)

In my former career I am an experienced warehouseman and Forklift driver who made a success of every venture taken. My key skills gained were -

• 8 years experience gained in various warehouse operations

• Competent driver of multiple forklift types for pallets and machinery.

• Planning materials and dealing with suppliers and transport companies.

• Planning and thinking creatively where storage space is an issue.

• Re planning a job quickly when production/demand changes.

• Fit and healthy and competent at manual handling.

• Well skilled with warehouse software. Systems used in my career so far include Sage and IFS

• Competent in writing professional email correspondence to work colleagues and external personnel.

Always enthusiastic about my work and will put any extra hours in necessary. Capable of getting up at any hour and experienced in shift work.
