Contract Spray Operator

March 2021 - Present

Responsible for driving a self propelled sprayer. I spray different crop types depending on customer requirements. I also assist with general maintenance on the machines.

Warehouse Operative Goods in/Goods out

Jan 2019 - March 2021

Currently working here involving goods in and goods out. The role includes making

up orders and preparing them for dispatch. The role also includes receiving raw materials onto site

checking the paperwork is correct and then putting stock away adhering to allergen segregation. Also

making up orders for production.

I was Involved in the running of a small team in the goods in department. My role involved taking

charge of the unloading and storage of ambient and frozen/chilled goods and distributing them to

departments as and when required. My role involved regular use of a counterbalance forklift and reach

truck forklift. I was responsible at times for controlling stock movements and purchase ordering using

sage 200 software. My role involved having good people skills when dealing with suppliers with regards

to transportation E.G Delivery times and booking in. Gained valuable skills in creating good working

Potato Farm 

Aug 2010 - Feb 2012 (1 year 7 months)

I worked at the wild oat picking. My responsibility's were walking through fields looking for wild oats. I

had to find oats and decide if they were wild oats or normal oats.

I also worked at the potato harvest working on the potato harvester picking out stones,mud and rotten

potatoes. I also did box levelling which involved levelling the potatoes in the potato boxes on the trailer

in all weathers.

I worked at the potato dressing. My responsibility's were sorting the mud and stones from the potatoes

and grading them. I was also involved in other general labour work at this time Including light tractor

work.

Jul 2011 - Aug 2011 (2 months)

My job was to wash out sheds in time for the barley/wheat harvest. I was responsible for making sure

the shed was clean enough to pass inspection. I was also taught at this time how to drive a tractor and

back up a trailer. I was also taught how to run a manure spreader in the field.
