Other livestock experience

•Covered the Dairy - milking cows with a 20:20 Herringbone parlour, ADF system and in parlour feeders.

•Calf rearing to include castration, dehorning and vaccinations, as well as treatment of sick animals

•Feeding the Dairy and Beef cattle Using a Kongskilde feeder wagon to load and distribute TMR ration to both beef and dairy cattle, as well as an active involvement within the ration formulation.

•Selecting cattle of the right weight and condition, transporting them to slaughter.

•Fencing work including rappa and permanent stock fencing.

•Daily stock check of the livestock to ensure all is well, water trough maintenance, identification and treatment of sick animals

•Cover other areas of the Farm when required e.g. Weaning pigs, TB testing, sheep fencing, equipment maintenance
