HNC in Agriculture at Craibstone, Aberdeen.

I have worked at two local marts working with cattle and sheep. (Thainstone and Huntly)

Completed an Apprenticeship with Ringlink which included my Telehander Certificate, Health and Safety, Manual Handling, Tractor Test and a 6 month work placement where I worked for 2+ years

I have done various lambing jobs both indoor and outdoor from texels to blackies.

Cattle - calving, worming, vaccinating, clipping, weighing etc.

I currently work on a livestock farm in Grange, with a small suckler herd and over 600 head of sheep. During the quieter months in the past 2 years (harvest)in this job Ive been on a mobile seed dresser with Frontier from August-October.

Maintaining healthy calves

I have worked in agriculture since leaving school, my passion for farming lies mainly with livestock and has done from a very young age showing cattle with my grandfather. Although, I am confident driving tractors/loaders with various implements. I also have my trailer license.
