My duties including team based harvesting work and independent muck spreading and ground preparation for maize drilling, demonstrating my ability to work efficiently both as part of a team and on my own.
I am also competent at operating a telehandler (sideboom and pivot steer) and a loader tractor.
Live and work on a dairy farm - Milking the cows twice a day, constantly looking out for mastitis/E-coli and any lame cows whilst milking, heat detection in the herd.

I previously lived in Cornwall for 4 years working on a 6 month rotation between 2 farms as the Youngstock manager. I was solely responsible for the day to day care of the calves; feeding, stomach tubing, calving cows and treating calves with the correct treatment if they were sick. Also during the serving period, I would oversee the heat detection by using tail paint and serve them.
