I have experience working with both beef and sheep on lowland and upland farms, experienced with both indoor and outside lambing. Experienced in general health care for sheep, marking lambs, dosing, jagging, tagging foot care and dipping along with dosing cattle, calving, bedding, feeding.

Farming background

2010 started working on the farm at weekends then started full time whilst being at college. Working alongside the farm manager and the herdsman working both with sheep and cattle with some tractor work including fertiliser spreading

2012-2013 working on a hill farm mainly with Blackface sheep during the lambing season, lambing both inside and out on the hill. Also mucking out sheds with telehandler , tedding and rowing up hay/silage carting bales.

2020 Lambing job running the shed myself with the odd help. Also mucking out cattle pens and helping with the calving

2021/2022

Working in a large grain handling facility , mainly driving Bobcat telehandler or JCB telehandler filling the intakes making sure moisture was correct after the drying process and general yard tidying

Working on a mixed far for the summer , jobs included cattle work, tagging calves, feeding cattle, dosing cows, other jobs were rolling game plots and spring barley, carting grain to grain shed, carting silage bales to be wrapped , carting and stacking straw, cultivation work using a sumo trio , rolling winter crops, mucking out cattle sheds
