Worked with mostly up to date John deere 6r tracotrs have experience with auto steer. Fertiliser spreading, slurry spreading with umbilical systems and tankers. Dung spreading and all aspects of silage and combining.
Day to day running of a 1000 cow dairy herd for a few months until new herd manager started. Beef, sheep and all aspects of work that come with them.

Outside of work through the summer months I like to go clay pigeon shooting every second Sunday and through the winter I enjoy pheasant shooting with my dad and brother

2014-2016 studied svq level 2 and level 3 at SRUC barony campus mainly focusing on dairy while working on a 500 cow dairy herd. Left to gain more experience and responsibilities.
2016-2017 worked on a 500 cow dairy herd with a strong passion for showing holstein cattle and tractor work at busy times eg silage and harvest. Left to get a change from dairy.
2017-2018 worked on a 300 strong suckler herd with mainly limousin and British blue cows and 50 pedigree aberdeen angus. 700 scotch mule ewes
2018-2022 assistant herd manager on a 900 strong holstein herd milking on a 70 point dairymaster rotary parlour. Main duties include health and welfare for cattle of all ages. I have to came away from Cattle work and progressed to tractorman taking in the roll of diet feeding 2000 head of cattle daily aswell as umbilical and tanker slurry, dung spreading, mowing, tedding, raking and bailing
2022-2023 sole tractor operator on a mixed beef and sheep farm undertaking all tractor work except for drilling and spraying.
2023-2024 product specialist at a dealer covering the lothians, Scottish Borders and Northumberland covering some top manufacturers, tractors, GPS, and a vast range of different equipment covered.
2024- current, tractor operator/ repairs on a large scale dairy farm near Kelso Scottish Borders.
