I used to have telehandler licence which has lapsed. My experience ranges from fast road applications such as Fastrac driving to operating subsoilers on Quadtracs. I also have experience using Catros style tillage equipment. I have worked on a 6500 acre farm outside of Cambridge and was able to use their entire range of tractors.
In the last four years I have done some digestate tanking before moving to our green waste recycling facility which I now manage.
Back in 2000-1 i was involved in the daily milking of 1100 Holstein cattle in New Zealand. I was also involved in the management of male stock across the farm. Within the sheep side of the business I was involved in the movement of stock around pastures, daily checking for fallen stock and for new lambs. I assisted in the shearing of the flock. The flock was approximately 8000.
My very recent experience is not as in depth as I would like as I have been focused on green waste recycling.

My current position includes managing the day to day running of a large green waste recycling site. We process about 30000t per annum. I have responsibilities that include directing staff, ensuring drop offs and collections are successful as well as monitoring health and safety across the site. In addition I also operate a variety of valuable machinery including loading shovels , telehandlers and tracked screeners up to 30t. This aspect my job can include the following: • Loading HGV walking floors with compostable materials. •Loading and unloading screening and shredding machines. I am also responsible for the safe and accurate storage of these materials onsite. •Conducting routine maintenance on machinery to ensure it runs effectively. •Operating the onsite weighbridge. This includes completing relevant paperwork making sure all loads adhere to the relevant disposal codes. •Liaising with drivers to ensure they follow protocols onsite and maintain our high standards of healthy and safety. I have a significant amount of driving experience across several continents. I have held HGV licences in the USA and Canada. I have also driven a variety of vehicles in the UK; from minibuses for schools to pickup delivery vehicles equipped with HIAB cranes. I currently hold NPORS certificates for telehandler and tractor. I have just passed my CITB Health and Safety assessment. I have successfully passed yearly assessment through the ITSSTAR scheme for the machines I operate. I have recently passed my practical HGV Class 1 licence through the government bootcamp scheme. I am now undertaking the CPC courses. I am charismatic and confident, but I have effective listening skills and I am articulate in conversation and able to engage strangers quickly and with a friendly manner. I am honest, reliable, and trustworthy. I am quick to develop new skills and eager to improve my contributions to any workplace.
