With 9 years of international harvesting experience across the UK, Germany, Australia and New Zealand, Ive operated a wide range of combine harvesters on cereals, oilseeds, pulses, grasses, and vegetable seed crops. My hands-on background includes straw-walker, rotary and HYBRID machines from CLAAS, John Deere, Case IH, and New Holland with proficiency in rigid, flex, stripper and pickup header configurations.
I served two seasons as a National Product Specialist in Australia for CLAAS LEXION machines, providing harvester training, machine handovers, diagnostics, and machine optimisations across diverse enterprises.
Complementing my harvesting expertise is some practical UK experience with primary and secondary cultivations including subsoiling, light/heavy tillage, and haulage. Ive completed two seasons in Australia direct drilling with articulated tractors using 12 and 18m direct drills, alongside roles in mechanical grape harvesting, MacDon swathing, chaser bin operation and haulage with road trains.
Experience with RTK auto-guidance platforms including CLAAS, John Deere GreenStar, Trimble, and CNH Trimble systems.
As part of a CLAAS UK scholarship, I joined an advanced-development test team in Germany, where I evaluated prototype combine and forage harvesters at various development stages.
I place strong emphasis on proactive machinery care including thorough routine maintenance and machine cleanliness, preventing unnecessary downtime in field and extreme failures such as thermal events.
Hands-on livestock experience across Australia and the UK, developed through family involvement and on-farm employment:
Sheep (Merino, Australia): Worked as a Jackaroo on a 20,000-hectare station, responsible for mulesing and livestock movement using motorbikes across varied terrain.
Pigs (Suffolk, UK): Gained experience on a mixed farm and family-run pig enterprise with straw-based indoor fattening systems. Duties included mucking out, health checks, administering treatments, and thorough unit washdowns.
Cattle & Poultry: Assisted with feeding and general husbandry of Aberdeen Angus and Sussex beef cattle on a family members farm. Also supported day-to-day operations on an indoor poultry unit.

Over a decade of diverse agricultural and engineering experience across the UK, Germany, Australia, and New Zealand, spanning practical farm work, machinery operation, dealership service support, and consultancy. Prior to university, held a long-term role as a tractor driver and farm worker on a 6,000-acre mixed farming business in Norfolk, responsible for haulage, cultivations, estate work, and machinery maintenance.
Completed a harvest season assisting dealership technicians with diagnostics and repairs of combine harvesters and tractors, developing technical insight and hands-on service skills.
More recently, worked nationally as an Agricultural Infrastructure and Engineering Consultant with ADAS, delivering compliant and cost-effective farm infrastructure and environmental solutions. Supported farmers with assessments of soil health, drainage, machinery and cropping practices to improve productivity and sustainability.
International work experience has fostered a strong ability to adapt quickly, communicate effectively, and contribute meaningfully in high-pressure, team-based environments. Known for a proactive work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and consistency in machine operation and maintenance.
