After a very successful 12 year career in the Military I returned to Norfolk where I settled and started a new career. Over the past 25 years I have gained extensive engineering and Arable Farming experience. This has resulted in my being able to remain determined and work to targets in high pressured environments, as well as developing excellent skills in both independent working and team collaboration. I have been responsible for and managed personnel, vehicles, materials and resources.
After my career in the Military I worked for a Lincolnshire farm; here I gained experience in Potato Harvesting, Baling, Irrigation and general farm work; I then progressed to managing their Potato and Grain stores. (Wheat, Barley and OSR). More recently I worked for a farm in South Norfolk; here I operated and maintained Self-propelled and trailed harvesters, and acted as their relief sprayer. I have always been keen to learn in each role I have had, allowing me to develop my knowledge and gain new skills, an attribute I would like to take forward. I work exceptionally well to deadlines, have very high personal standards and targets, a desire to excel and can offer a substantial range of experience and knowledge to an employer that shares these values.
