I grew up in East London always having a passion for the agriculture industry. In order to get my foot in the door I started volunteering at my local city farm at the age if 10, throughout my time there as a volunteer I was able to talk to various groups of people and members of the public where I eventually received my first paid job. I then moved onto another city farm as their Livestock apprentice where I gained my Level 3 Qualification as well as being able to confidently talk to and educate members of the public about the 'field to fork' process
From this over the years it has given me the drive to gain as much extra experience as possible such as going to Scotland for a week and staying with a family on their pedigree Aberdeen Angus farm that they reared for beef, while there I learned all aspects of rearing cattle for market from feeding and checking cattle to assisting with high health status blood testing for pedigree stock.
