2013 - 2016 - 650 Hours farm experience on Lackham Home Farm.

2014 - 2016 - General Farm Worker, Aldbourne.

Livestock - General livestock work including the day to day running of a suckler herd, a lambing flock. Experience in feeding, bedding, lambing, medication administration, tagging, tailing, castrating, de-horning.

Machinery / arable experience - Grain store preparation, Grain carting, discing, cultivations, rolling, muck spreading, combine relief. Servicing all machinery.

Estate management - Hedge cutting, Fencing, ditching and drainage.

2016 - 2026 - General Farm Worker Hampshire.

Livestock - working alongside a team of 4 to run up too 6,000 store lambs and 500 store cattle. Competent stockman in both sheep and cattle, Experience includes Feeding, bedding, movement of animals, fencing, vaccinating, dehorning and castrating, monitoring health and administering medication, movements and grazing plans, grassland management, fencing and checking stock in fields, dipping sheep, driving the large artic stock box.

Machinery - This includes but is not limited to combining (9 years experience in total), fertilising, ploughing, cultivating, all aspects of grass work, mowing, baling, silaging, wrapping, raking, rowing up, muck spreading, grain loading, operating the drier, drilling (using multiple different drills with and without GPS systems) , hedge cutting, drainage works, fencing and estate maintenance, hedge laying, tree felling / chainsaw work, bricklaying and I have certification to spray. Since coming to the farm I have bought more agricultural and machinery experience to the table which has allowed us to achieve more timely field operations and beat deadlines.

March 2018 - December 2018 - General Farm worker placement - Lamborne

Machinery - Workload included drilling, combining, rolling, grain carting, estate maintenance, grain store operations, machinery maintenance and fabrications.

Main machinery driven include Fendts (720, 724, 936) and Claas Lexion 760 Combine w. 35 ft header.

August 2023 - January 2024 General Farm worker- Sabbatical - New Zealand.

I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity by my current employers to travel to New Zealand. I wanted to see new farming methods whilst travelling somewhere completely out of my comfort zone. Asides from travelling I completed a wide range of farming from grass work, moving large mobs of cattle and sheep using several dogs at any given time. fencing, cultivations etc. The main experience I gained was working upon challenging terrain and incredibly steep ground. I truly enjoyed the stripped back nature of the work whereby the infrastructure was set up efficiently to improve lone working and allow work to be completed by minimal staff at any given time.
