13 GCSEs grade A-B, 4 A Levels, CertHE pass in Biomedical Sciences, BSc (Hons) 2:2 in Agriculture, CertHE pass in Pre-medical Studies and currently completing a BSc (Hons) in Paramedic Science. Tractor and telehandler licences gained as well as a transport of animals by road certificate for cattle, sheep and goats. PA1 and PA2 certificates completed and have a trailer licence as well as a provisional C1 licence. Foot trimming, shearing and AI courses completed at HAU.

Other equipment experience

Other livestock experience

7 years experience lambing day and night shifts with full shed responsibility for 400-1200 sheep across the UK and Norway.

4 years experience milking on rotary, herringbone and swing over parlours between 20-1400 dairy cows.

Harvest work on 2 farms in Staffordshire and Oxfordshire for wheat, barley, rape, potatoes, maize, beans, oats.

Some experience calving Highland and Shorthorn cattle. Other tractor experience includes telehandler work, mowing, rolling, pulling arctic trailers.

I am currently undertaking a BSc degree in Paramedic Science at Swansea University. Outside of work and uni I like to go shooting, snowboarding, to music festivals and the races, as well as mountaineering and travelling. My post-graduate dream is to work my way up to a role in search and rescue or expedition medicine while retaining some link to agriculture.
