I done a lot of showing with dairy cattle, and know how to turn the cattle out to high standards for shows and sales. I was reserve champion Jersey Handler at The All Breeds All Britain Calf Show in 2015 and 2016, and have prepared and showed cattle which have won championships

2017 - I worked on a 120 cow pedigree Holstein herd during my college middle year placement. This involved milking twice a day through a herringbone parlour, scraping and bedding yards, drying cows off and record keeping
2017-2018 - I spent 6 months working on a large scale alpaca farm, caring for approximately 600 alpacas. This involved daily tasks such as feeding and checking stock, assisting with shearing, the birthing season and the mating season
2018-2024 - I returned to the family business, gradually building up my experience and taking on more responsibility for the dairy herd. We ran 150 pedigree Jerseys through a robotic milking system, with cattle grazing for as long as possible.
Since the herd was dispersed in 2024 I have been working as a self employed dog walker, but am currently on maternity leave and considering returning to dairy farming
