Farming background

Kitchen Fitting and general labour work. General farm work such as fencing, turning horses out, hauling bales, strimming, mowing and turning hay.

Daily duties have included feeding and checking cows/sheep, bedding up, weighing stock, drenching, ear tagging and general telehandler work. I can also shear (a few) sheep.

I spent 4 years on an arable farm growing wheat, barley, rape seed and hay.

I then have been working on a beef and sheep farm for several years, as well as for a fencing and ground works contractor.
