At the moment im working on a lovely farm in south Wales, i do the milking 6 days a week on my own, the cell count ranges from 95 to 135 and the bacta scan is between 25 and 30 which has to be below 50 for us. Since i started there last November we have had 14 Mastitis cases 3 of which were in the summer when it was 28 degrees so that was down to it being to hot. I do do there feet but ive been wanting to do a course so i can do the more extreme cases of there feet, i just dont want to hurt them by making a mistake. I take great pride in keeping my Parlour nice and clean and tidy and making sure the cows are happy, ive never once had a blue stick in the parlour or ever shouted at any of the cows, which hs been noticed since ive been there by Genus who AI our cows stating that the cows are so much more calm since i have been there and the last milker left. I want to continue with the cows and all areas of the farm, but my passion now are the cows and there well being.

I worked on a small holding for my parents, mainly dairy. I have in total five years experience of farm work, of which were two large Dairy farms in Cornwall, and a farm in Harverfordwest Scotland All three jobs involved, milking, feeding, raising livestock, bedding, scraping, fencing, building work, maintenance, slurry spreading, roatervating, rolling, maize, silige, nursing cows with milk fever, and giving electrolites and administering injections.
I would like a permanent job on a nice clean organised farm in beautiful quiet country side. I am friendly that loves the outdoors, wind rain or shine, and take pride in my work.
