2015-Present. Worked on a livestock farm, running up to 3500 breeding ewes and up to 150 cattle. Started off just in summers helping but been full time since 2017, with the past 2.5 years solely managing 900 breeding ewes and 50 pedigree cattle. Run indoor and outdoor lambing system, with heavy use of electric fencing for rotational grazing and out wintered strip grazing on fodder beet/turnips.
Did not come from a farming background but have learned a lot and always looking to learn more.
