I am originally from Devon, currently living in Dorset, where Im head shepherdess of a large sheep dairy. My passion has always been shepherding but I enjoy working with all types of livestock and machinery. Im extremely hard working and reliable and always take pride in what ever job I do.

2015-2016 weekend work as a veterinary assistant in between college. 2010-2016 Working with the local shepherd along side school and college. 2016-2017 graduated agricultural college and was hired as herdsperson in Dorset on a 150 Fleckvieh cow dairy, where I moved away from home and was responsible for 50% of all milkings, all calf rearing, yard work, milk recording, electric fencing, dehorning calfs and general farm work. 2017 to current, was employed only for 30 days to rear lambs for sheep dairy, was then asked to stay and become full time milker, the manager then saw my potential with sheep work and became assistant shepherdess and after 2 years of employment, I was then promoted to head shepherdess, where I am now involved in the management side of the farm aswell as the practical side. Im currently in charge of 3 members of staff on my team that I organise on a rota and set daily task for. In this role I review are flock health plan, organise tupping 6 times a year to a target amount of in lamb ewes to keep up with milk forecasts, organising shearing and pregnancy scanning, TMR feeding, selecting cull ewes, selecting high yielding ewes to keep replacements from and all aspects of sheep husbandry.
