Farming background

Worked on farms when I was younger during the harvest period and over the past 8yrs have worked on a farm, near Selby, during harvest/cereals/canola and primary cultivation period only.

In 2015 started doing potato season on another farm in N York's and have done all seasons to 2020, leading, grading, boxing and bulker's, with good experience of a busy Two grader yard. Had a year away from harvest season and then I became the main arable operator on a farm full time.

I am mechanically minded with reasonable workshop skills and I'm able to weld and fabricate to DNV standards due to my Engineering back ground. I have held the position of Foreman and Supervisor within my Engineering/Construction background, but I'm always willing to learn new skills or gain new qualification's especially in agriculture.

Other Work; I have worked in Construction and have a number of other skills like Tiling, Joinery work, Electrical work, bathroom suite's and domestic/commercial central heating etc.
