Working on mixed dairy farms milking up to 180 Holstein Friesians, including the use of robots, assisting in the care of a Sussex beef herd. Dairy cattle are rotational and strip grazed in summer and TMR fed in winter with management collars. Experience feeding, scraping, bedding up, calving, administering medication and treatment. Rearing beef youngstock and replacements for dairy including Vaccinating, dehorning. Under taking everyday duties including AI, foot trimming and relief milking.

Also owned a small flock of Texel x Mules and gained experience with lambing, shearing, drenching, vaccinating, CIDRs and general care.
