Farming background

Currently working on the Maxwellton estate for klondyke farms 700 suckler cows 400 breeding ewes and gimmers plus 500 boarders for grazing prior to this I worked for 10 year on an estate in Dumfries, 1000 hill Scottish Blackface ewes and 40 Galloway suckler cows single handed and working closely with the Grouse keeper ! Previous employment 2 years on farm with 550 suckler herd and 250 blackface ewes, have also worked with horses most my life and worked at a stud farm breeding quality performance horses, also was Gamekeeper on small estate shoot 1500 pheasant 100 duck, predator control disease control, environmental preparation, feeding, electric fencing, Managing shoot days, beaters, etc.
