I'm from a farming background all my life my family are farmers back at in Northern Ireland and when I came off age I worked mainly in the construction industry but worked part time with agricultural contractors and other farmers through the seasons with silage, bailing, potatoes and spouts. Then in 2015 I came to England to work on a large salad onion farm for the season doing cultivation and haulage. And went back to construction for a few years. Then in 2017 I went to West Sussex to work on a large Sweetcorn farm for the season after that I stayed in West Sussex and went to work on a Arable Farm with autumn cultivations and machinery and yard maintenance. I went work for my friend who owns his own recovery and mechanic service asked to help him so I relocated to Luton and worked for him. The farm in West SussexI done the autumn cultivations and wasasked to join the farm for harvesting and cultivation session which I took up the offer and worked. And the off season which is winter I joined a company delivering for amultinational technology company and the plan was to do that until the season starts up again but then Covid hit so I decided to stay on for the next 3 or so years delivering parcels. Then a mate told me about a job harvesting parsley was coming up and asked would I be interested in drive a JCB and Chaser which I was then after a month I was promoted to drive the specialist Ploeger Harvester.
