Traditional stockman and now looking after 400 brown swiss cows, milking most days I grew up on a mixed farm so can do most things with stock. I have been a herdsman for a few years now can use uniform and crystal like to keep my records up to date am comfortable doing vet visits

stock man for the first 15 years looking after a flock of around 300 ewes sows and fattening pigs 200 cows and the followers . Took an assistant herdsman job on an estate nr chester and got the chance to run the herd after the herdsman got made redundant as to them moving all 4 herds to 1 plant with a 60 point rotary in december of 2014 that was when i moved on very good terms i would like to think i did a very good job for them .

born on a farm and worked on 1 all my life mixed until the early 90s then they went all out milk but moved in 97 to a mixed farm again for 4 years then offered a good assistant herdsman job and done it since . now the farm that im on is changing management and the new 1 is not enough attention to detail for me so i want to move on rather than stay put but my current boss will give me a reference if it is needed
