I have spent the last 13 years gaining practical experience and skills through good weather seasons and bad weather seasons. For both a large family run contracting business and a family run arable estate. The contracting side is as follows. Grass tedding,flat rolling,muck spreading, raking,wrapping,topping,part of small and large silage teams ( grass and maize)some experience in square bailing. For the large family run arable estate my main duties were cultivation from stubble using either discordon or plough, drilling rape usually with seeder on discordon,power harrowing, ring rolling,stubble raking. Mowing with front mounted and single rear mower, hedge cutting. On modern big horse power John Deere's 7260r,8360r,8370rt all fitted with greenstar gps. Grain cart,pushing up in grain store and monitoring grain in store. Chain sawing, digger work and day to day estate duties, building maintenance, up keep of grounds.Always keen to learn and like a challenge would love to get more involved in forager/combine driving, cultivation, drilling, bailing and livestock work I.e milking, foot trimming, lambing etc
