Worked as relief Milker on herd of 200 spring calving Jersey cross cows. Did all feeding/bedding for all stock and also shifting fences, dosing etc. worked for 2 months in New Zealand for a dairy farm milking 450 cows through a 50 point rotary. Main tasks were milking, feeding out, shifting irrigators and shifting fence breaks. Some sheep experience gained on home farm were we used to have 100 texel cross ewes lambing at Christmas. Employer in New Zealand had 800 ewes so gained some experience mainly shifting them and working in the sheep yards. Have cattle experience gained at home as we used to finish store cattle, mainly Limousine.I also reared bull calves to finishing up until I went to England.
