I have worked on a beef unit, a small holding of south Devon bulls, and red Angus. I wanted to see how the other sector works outside of dairy, a lot of my jobs were similar, from day to day bedding up, feeding, animal health, tagging, and de horning calves.

I started in the Dairy industry in 2003 on a small holding of 150 Holsteins. I worked there until 2008, learning every aspect of the business. 2009 I joined a 300 Jersey Heard in Saffron Walden as a Herdsman, and machine maintenance. 2009_2010 worked on a 500 mixed herd as a Herdsman.In 2011 went to Cornwall as a head herdsman with 160 Holsteins. In 2012 i moved to Hampshire, were i worked on a mixed farm my aim was to learn arable, whilst still relief milking, i looked after the beef unit, with the day to day feeding, and general young stock health,
