Have been herd manager on many English farms. also spent 2 years in new Zealand on 500+cow herds. I went to college where I gained a level three in dairy herd management on a day release course whilst working on the family farm were I increased the herd size from 74 up to 120 using our own replacements. In 2004 I went aboard where I managed a small herd in Iceland implementing a breeding programme to introduce fresh blood into the breeding programme. In 2005 I went to New Zealand whilst there I managed herds up to 1000head developing my skills at getting milk from a grass based system. In 2009 I came home where I have been managing herds since I am looking for a new challenge and am willing to consider anywhere.
