Crossfields Angus / Bissett Trust 2015 Present (family farm)

- Feeding cows and bulls daily, preparing buckets the night before. Bedding up cattle pens.

- Calving cows in pens and in the crush, being involved in multiple C sections and also a vaginal prolapse.

- TB testing and blood testing, I can now take blood samples from cows.

- Working to high health standards, keeping clean and doing all work to a high standard to insure the herd stays farm assured and high health status.

-Looking after calves who have been orphaned or pet calves by ensuring they have colostrum and are fed daily from a bottle or milk bar.

-Driving a 7710 and 6930 premium John Deere tractor as well as a CAT telescopic handler since 2017

-Used the 7710 and 6930 to cart bales during harvest, as well as using the bailer and other grassland management such as rolling, topping, aerating, muckspreading and livestock fencing.

-Used the telescopic handler to move and load bales onto the trailer and when stacking the shed.

-Gamekeeping work, building pheasant and partridge pens, dogging in, feeding ducks, pheasant and partridges.

The Rowbarge 2021-2022 2023-2024

Started as a KP and quickly moved quickly up the ranks through the chef positions.

I started doing orders and creating my own dishes.

Worked long hours in a busy restaurant under pressure and at a high quality.

Heckfield park farm 2022 - 2023

Was involved in all aspects of livestock including chickens, sheep, beef and dairy, jobs included milking, cleaning parlor, making food rations for the herd, calf rearing, lambing and managing the sheep and also doing abattoir runs for animals that had been selected to be sold to a local hotel.

Driving machinery such as the telehandler and tractor which involved livestock duties such as feeding and bedding and unloading lorries and on the tractor doing cultivation work including ploughing as well as slurry tankering, topping, fencing, muckspreading and carting (bales and forage).

Heckfield also had an organic status which meant we had to work within strict guidelines with medicines, crop and grassland rotations, we also had to be meticulous at record keeping with medicines and calf registration.

Wasing estate 2024-2026 event chef

Worked as an event chef for the last 2 and a half years working to high standards in a high stress environment working long hours.

In this role I did a lot of ordering and stock management which has meant to be very organised working tidy as well as having good record keeping.

The team I worked in also had to work closely with the farm as we use the estates own beef meaning ive learnt alot more about the food chain.
