Farming background

Worked with my great grandfather from a young age when we were a dairy farm, feeding calves, bedding and cleaning stalls, I did a little bit of milking towards the end but always supervised and walked through it. Then with my grandfather as a young teen I helped raised cattle for beef, again I would help with fencing and moving herds, bedding and feeding through winter, Chasing the Silage cutter and packing the clamp, hauling in grains and bales. My grandfather said there was no money in farming and told me I needed to find a job that could support me. So out of school I left for the army, I came back just before my 18th after fracturing my legs, I bounced around between factory work, composite material manufacturing and HGV mechanics before finding a job operating tractors for a sports field drainage company, I have spent the past 2 years here chasing spoil from drainage trenchers.
