At college, I covered all aspects of farming and agricultural engineering to include trailer Work topping and grass harrowing and rolling along with milking and stock Work.
I am currently working on an organic arable and dairy farm. My main duties are milking, feeding and calving the 400 Viking Red herd and all of the machinery Work such as harrowing, rolling, topping, loader work and general maintenance and servicing of farm equipment.

Whilst I was at college, I had a work placement for a local agricultural dealer in Dorset where I worked alongside qualified engineers to assist with servicing and breakdowns on New Holland tractors and combines also assisting with PDIs on new machines, my other duties included ensuring the workshop was clean and tidy and to valet and prepare machines for delivery and resale, I have also worked on at a local farm to gain experience with thrashing straw, working as a member of the team where I would need to feed the with the bailer, assisting with the thrasher and preparing bundles, I also helped around farm including working in the grain store also servicing & maintaining kit. I have also had a short term contract to assist the sales team at a tractor dealership where I valeted the tractors for the sales team to handover and move tractors and machinery to and from depots and help the workshop team service vehicles when needed and assisted with shows and event.
I help out on the family farm. And I am currently working on an organic arable and dairy farm covering all day-to-day duties.
