Dont have any experience driving machinery apart from a dumper but am willing to learn !

I have hands-on experience rearing and managing calves from two weeks old to weanling stage. My responsibilities include making sure each calf is drinking correctly, monitoring health daily, and identifying signs of illness or poor performance.

I prepare and fed milk replacer according to feeding schedules and introduced concentrates and forage to support healthy growth and rumen development.

I carried out dosing programmes in line with veterinary and farm health plans, administering wormers and assisting with vaccination programmes while ensuring accurate record keeping.

I maintained clean, well-bedded housing and high standards of hygiene and biosecurity, including cleaning feeding equipment, water troughs, and calf pens.

As calves approached weaning, I monitored concentrate intake and growth to ensure a smooth transition from milk feeding. After weaning, I continued to monitor health and weight gain to support the development of strong, healthy weanlings.

This experience has given me strong skills in calf rearing, animal husbandry, health management, dosing and vaccination procedures, record keeping, and maintaining high welfare standards.
