very mild asthma - managed when needed by inhalers
I have grown up in the countryside around farms and friends farms. Since being deemed "big enough" to properly work on them in 2023 I have been consistently working on farms. In 2023-2024 i worked on a dairy farm with robot milkers - predominantly helping with the calf rearing as well as mucking out and bedding up. Early 2024-now, I have been work on a organic mixed farm working with beef cattle (around 150-200) and sheep (around 120-180) as well as a few hundred chickens. Throughout this i have done general tractor work as well as being mainly responsible for the machines maintenance as i have been getting a level 3 qualification in mechanics on agricultural machinery since September 2024. Since mid 2024 - now, I milk every other weekend on a dairy farm. i have recently been asked to do payed relief milking on the same farm on friday afternoon. Here I milk a 90 head milking herd of fresians in a 6 abreast parlour. while they are in the parlour i also help by doing tail trimming. as well as helping with rearing calves after milking.
