I have practical and academic experience in dairy production and livestock management gained through structured training and hands-on roles in both commercial and research farm settings.
My initial experience began with an internship at Bahadurnagar Farm (LPRI), where I was exposed to large-scale dairy operations. During this period, I gained hands-on involvement in routine herd management, including cattle handling, milking processes, feeding routines, and supporting general animal health and welfare practices.
Following this, I completed my MSc in Livestock Management, during which I worked part-time at a small dairy farm. In this role, I gained practical experience in day-to-day dairy operations such as assisting with milking, monitoring cow health, feeding management, calf care, and maintaining hygiene and biosecurity standards within the herd environment.
In addition, I conducted my research work at the University of Agriculture dairy farm, where I gained further exposure to structured dairy production systems. This experience strengthened my understanding of herd management practices, milk production efficiency, and data-driven livestock research under controlled farm conditions.
Overall, my background combines practical farm experience with academic training, giving me a strong foundation in dairy cattle management, animal welfare, and modern dairy production systems.
