I am the daughter of a gamekeeper, so have spent most of my life pheasant rearing. Giving me knowledge of biosecurity and welfare checks.
Most of my livestock experience is focused on sheep. I have been lambing every year since I was 13 on a number of farms. I have experience in both beef and dairy. I worked on a unit finishing 1000 beasts a year, thus am competent handling cattle in crush systems, sorting, moving stock, welfare checks etc. I have milked a number of times and am willing to learn further.
