Currently working on a large 5000 acre estate mixed farming estate ( JCB Farms) in West Midlands, I'm in charge of running an outdoor organic pig unit from farrow to finish sending approximately 10 pigs a week to the abattoir. When I'm not working on the pig side I am helping out with beef cattle or doing general farm work, muck carting, topping etc.

Australia -Have worked on a 7000 head sheep farm in NSW Australia (reference available). experienced drenching, ear marking, mustering/herding on 2 and 4 wheeled bikes with dogs. Loading stock trucks, lambing experience.

Have raised pigs when i was younger at my parents small holding.

Have always raised chickens, ducks, quail and geese since I was young.

Farming background

Working on a 7000 head sheep farm in Forbes NSW Australia, before this I was a plumbing heating and gas engineer for approximately 5 years. Before this I was doing timber framing on building sites. I'm a very practical hands on person and happy to get involved in anything and everything required. Have mechanical skills, and have restored my own classic car. Regularly doing maintenance at my dads small holding.
