Worked on a high country station that had 2200 Pembrokeshire cross breading ewes, 250 merino wool ewes, 200 breading Angus beef cattle and 300 breading deer. I helped out the stock manager during muster, lambing/calving, drenching, medical applications and deer work, including velvet removal from the stags.

Farming background

Diesel mechanic by trade. Had years of doing maintenance on a large variety of vehicles from skidoos to fishing boats, heavy plant, generators, small petrol engines, hydraulics and the maintenance of ski lifts.

Ive had plenty of experience with heavy machinery from front end loaders clearing snow, loading logs for fire wood production, snow groomers, large excavators digging foundations for a ski gondola, cutting and maintaining farm tracks.
