Other equipment experience

I come from an agricultural background, having grown up operating tractors and loaders. I have since gained two years of experience in the construction industry, during which I obtained my 360 excavator and dumper certifications. Additionally, I have experience operating tracked dumpers while working for a landscaping company.

Other livestock experience

I grew up assisting my father on his dairy farm, where I gained hands-on experience in calving, feeding, and general livestock care. Our family has always maintained beef cattle and sheep, and since transitioning away from dairy farming, both the herd and flock sizes have expanded.

My first formal work experience involved spending five to six years on a neighbouring poultry farm. During this time, I progressed from learning core skills under experienced staff to mentoring and training new employees, sharing my knowledge and practical expertise.
