Other livestock experience

I have worked on a mixed farm on the dairy mainly, including milking solo within a 6-a-side herribone DeLeval parlour, robot maintenance, management and upkeep, calf rearing in an all-year round calving system, and partaking in dry cow management. I have my own personal flock of sheep, pedigree and commercial, which I also show, and this includes solo lambing (day and night) indoors and outdoors, as well as working on other farms with flocks of varying sizes. I have had experience incubating, hatching and rearing small scale pedigree laying hens, which I also have a qualification in chicken behaviour and welfare.
