I have several years experience working with cattle in both dairy and calf rearing systems. My current role involves managing a commercial calf rearing unit, responsible for large numbers of calves from intake through to weaning. This includes daily feeding, bedding, health checks, administering treatments, monitoring performance and maintaining high welfare standards.
I have previously worked on dairy farms milking and carrying out general herd work, as well as calf care, and I have also assisted with lambing and seasonal livestock work. I am confident handling cattle of all ages, working independently, and keeping accurate records. I am used to working in busy farm environments where attention to detail and consistency are important.

I currently manage a calf rearing unit within a commercial beef supply chain, where I am responsible for the day-to-day running of the unit, livestock health, record keeping and supervising staff when required. The role involves working closely with vets, following health protocols and ensuring high standards are maintained at all times.
Before this I worked on dairy and livestock farms carrying out milking, calf rearing, feeding, bedding and general farm work, as well as seasonal roles including lambing and poultry work. I have also had previous roles outside farming, which have helped develop reliability, organisation and the ability to work as part of a team, but I am now looking to stay in a practical farm role long term.
I am happy to relocate for the right job and am particularly interested in positions that include accommodation.
