I've been doing farm work ever since I left school, I've done arable work, pigs, all aspects off farm work I have previously worked on a pig farm (Rattle row, Cambridge ) where they have various farms all over east Anglia, we produced 1200 piglets on a 3 week basis there was always a constant turnover from there they went too fating unit in Norfolk we mainly produced piglets then from there they head off too a fating unit , I used various machinery john Deere tractors / jcb telehandlers. the day to day jobs would be feed, mucking out , putting straw out, sorting pigs, artificial insemination , managing pigs , making sure piglets where fit and healthy from there I done contract arable farming for a few farms where id be helping out doing corn carting , bailing ,taking muck away ,rolling, muck spreading ,flailing ,topping, cultivating, all general farm work... various machinery such as new Holland tractors ,john Deere tractors, massey bailers , Bunning muck spreader, summo, vaderstad cultivators, im also a gamekeeper on a 1500 acre estate in Benington Herts which is owned by the bott family , i deal with all the vermin / looking after pheasants from poults all the way through the season general jobs would be managing the shoot running the shoot feeding / water/ replacing pens/ fixing pens/ fixing feeders/ sorting drives ect.. for the last year ive been doing tree works for a company called maydencroft i was a arborist got all the relevant tickets chipper/Ariel rescue / all fells /chainsaw cross cutting and maintenance, id be doing all types off tree work from felling to climbing to take downs .
