I have worked with a range of equipment having experience with driving both tractors and telehandlers, I have also had to carry out poultry feeding with machinery and I am very keen to gain more experience with other equipment.
I have gained hands-on experience working with livestock through both my current role on a poultry farm and voluntary work with dairy and calves. On the poultry farm, I am involved in the daily management and care of birds, ensuring high welfare standards, maintaining clean environments, and supporting general farm operations. Alongside this, my voluntary calf feeding experience has given me a good understanding of youngstock care, including feeding routines, monitoring health, and maintaining hygiene. These experiences have helped me develop a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a practical understanding of livestock management.

No health problems.
My goal is to build a career in agriculture and would love the opportunity to learn. From my time studying at university I have learned that I am drawn to more physical and hands-on work, combining this with meaningful work is my dream career path and would love the opportunity to learn and get more involved. Whilst working on a poultry farm I have been responsible for a range of tasks. These include daily care and monitoring of poultry, ensuring high standards of animal welfare. Alongside this I have had to follow strict biosecurity procedures, as well as clean and disinfect sheds, equipment, and work areas. My daily tasks also include monitoring feed and water systems, identifying and reporting any health or behavioural issues with livestock, and also support general farm operations.
