Most of my experience has been with sheep and cows. I have worked on my parents farm who have about 4000 breeding sheep, we lamb them outside every year, and I look after about 2,500 of them when they lamb.

They have about 1000 cows that I help sort, worm, tag and ring calves, help get them in to tb test and pd the cows. I have also calved a cows quite a few times but never on my own.

I have only worked with a few pigs on the farm but not for a long time so I really dont have much experience with them.

Farming background

I have worked on my family farm for aslong as I can remember, its mostly sheep and cows. We lamb 4000 sheep outside, and have about 1000 cattle. We also have about 100 goats.

This will also be my third year going to Scotland to do contract lambing indoors. I started it when I was 17. And I run the shed when Im there. They have about 1000 sheep and I run the shed by, lambing the sheep when they need lambing, separating the sheep into their own pens once they have lambed, feed the pet lambs, wet foster lambs onto new mums and adopt lambs onto new mothers.

Also outside of farming I have done seasonal housekeeping and bed making for Center Parcs. That I did on and off over the summer and winter for a couple of years while I was at college.
