General Farm Worker, Wiltshire - 2024 - Present

Within this job, I have been responsible for all aspects of arable production through drilling, spraying and combining. Due this being a mixed farm I have also worked heavily with livestock, both cattle and sheep. With the cattle I have been responsible for calf rearing in the winter and general husbandry of a 150+ beef herd. I have also intermittently assisted on a sister farm, helping with a sheep dairy. This has required a level of organisation, self motivation and tenacity. I have had to pay close attention to detail as much of the work has been completed solo.

Drillman, West Sussex - 2021 - 2024

In this job I drilled most of the company's baby leaf crops, including spraying in front of the drill, which required me to be organised, driven and have good attention to detail. I undertook a variety of groundworks, such as power harrowing, bed making, disking and sub soiling. I also did a lot of mechanical hoeing of baby leaf crops.

When working with this company, I worked mainly on a lathe producing sensor casings, however, I also used milling machines and both CNC and Manual lathes and milling machines. The sensors were used in oil, gas, medical and aerospace industries.

During this job, I was responsible for fixing and maintaining a plethora of different machines and tractors. My responsibilities included but were not limited to; rebuilding engines, servicing machinery and PDI machines before delivery.

In this job I did corn carting as well as grain store work, it required me to work long hours which I was able to do whilst maintaining my positivity and my attentiveness.
