I have spent many years on silage operations and helped with the harvest in Scotland on a Barley beef/ arable farm grain carting, round baling and primary cultivation of 500 acres plus spent a lot of the winter there feeding.
Spent many years at home on a hill sheep farm doing mainly grassland maintenance and haymaking with some round bale silage work plus doing this for neighbours.
Spent 2 years full time driving a telehandler on construction sites as well as tractor driving moving materials and some very accurate trailer reversing to get near cranes and to load and deliver some pretty large awkward loads as well as slurry tanker work for dust suppression and moving water around site. I have construction tickets for telehandler, 360 tracked excavator, I also have a large amount of tractor experience & ADT dump truck sadly all these have lapsed but I think there are ways to reinstate them.
I am currently coming to an end of my first corn carting job which included some grain store management. I have been getting cultivators repaired from last year to use now and will be using GPS in mainly cultivation for the next couple of weeks then I'll be looking for work but an earlier start may well be possible.
lots of experience with sheep and cattle mainly

My recent experience last summer corn carting with JD 6215r and some cultivation work using GPS for first time so things to learn there but Im comuter literate so once Im shown Im fine. I missed out on GPS as I had a break from tractor driving to do tree surgery and ran my own business with that in Oxford. My early Autumn job last year was carting Maize to an AD plant with a Fendt 724 vario but not used GPS. We also hauled digestate back to farm to fill spreader. I would call myself a farm boy just lapst a bit doing other things . Ive spent a few season s with a silage contractor and drove tractors in construction for a few years as well as drive telehandlers a lot. I spent an autumn in Scotland carn carting, round baling and a little ploughing then returned in the spring for mainly power harrowing with a little drilling. Outside this Ive done the tree surgery as Ive mentioned as well as a degree in biochemistry and started an engineering degree. Ive got into property buying and selling but thats on a pause as Im getting divorced soon hopefully. Im happy in the workshop and reasonably skilled but these days simple fitting ability seems to be getting less useful with computers but I can do just things .. welding was never something I got into as repairs were not to practice on and it never happened or was needed but I wish I tried more now. Im available more or less straight away.
