Starting in 2019 I was volunteering at an animal rescue centre with animals from horses to pigs as well as smaller animals like mice. I still go there time to time now, once I left school in 2022 I started working for my first farm, until October 2023, we had mostly sheep however had a few acres of maize and grass which we cut and baled so I got involved in that. May 2024 till current. I started working for a gamekeeper running the incubators, counting thousands of chicks, delivering them to other grounds then moving to checking our pens when the birds are out. biting, catching, clipping during shoot season it turns to pen maintenance and beating.

Also starting a sheep farm at the same time as joining the dairy. As part of the dairy we also have sheep, so helped with the lambs and lambing, moving the sheep and feeding them aswell as my main responsibility of feeding the calves, helping with milking and loving cattle.

With a few smaller jobs in between Im now at an arable farm helping out as a student.

As well as jobs Ive had so many great experiences as friends and family are in the industry.
